The Gygi Lab is interested in developing and applying new technologies in the fields of mass spectrometry and proteomics (Huttlin et al. Cell 2021, Kuljanin et al. Nature Biotechnology 2021, Nusinow et al. Cell 2020). Prior post-doctoral fellows in this co-mentored position have had productive experiences (e.g. Kuljanin et al. Nature Biotechnology 2021, Banh et al. Cell 2020).

  • Leading and collaborating on studies in and between the Mancias and Gygi Labs.
  • Maintain and operate a state-of-the art mass spectrometer

Qualifications:

  • The candidate should have recently received a Ph.D. focused on proteomics.
  • A strong background in mass spectrometry.
  • A background of scientific accomplishment including at least one first author peer-reviewed publication.
  • Evidence of oral and written communication skills in English.

A successful candidate will be highly motivated, independent yet willing to collaborate with other team members and eager to develop and pursue a novel research program.
